Word for the day

mendacious adj.

1. having a tendency to lie

2. deliberately untrue

Are you being, or is that just.

The reason for that was that I used the word in a teacher's workshop and it was a bit of a dead steer on the JR line of my trainer's thought process (such as it is.)

There's a definite touch of the Igors about this guy, I can well imagine him calling my area manager "Marthter" and collecting brains for him.
damn good word. sort of sad that the fools who selected the kanji of the year didn't pick it.

"ai" (love) for kanji of the year? i can't imagine a worse pick except maybe "sobriety."
